01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or creating an account on Fortized, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Important: These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered members, Bastion owners, and moderators. Continued use of Fortized following any update to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.

02 Assumption of Risk & User Responsibility

Fortized is an open community platform where users interact with one another in real time. By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that:

You may encounter other users whose conduct, language, or intentions you find objectionable, inappropriate, or harmful. This is an inherent characteristic of any open social platform, and one that no safety system can fully eliminate.
Fortized cannot guarantee the identity, motivations, or behaviour of any individual user. You accept full responsibility for the interactions you engage in and the content you are exposed to on the platform.
Any harmful, offensive, or unlawful act carried out by a user on this platform is the sole responsibility of that individual — not of Fortized or Stawdio Group.
You are solely responsible for your own conduct, your account activity, and any content you share or transmit through the platform.

By registering an account, you explicitly accept the inherent social risks of participating in an online community. Fortized provides a robust set of protective tools — including automated moderation, a dedicated Fortized Security Department, age verification and restrictions, content filters, and a user report system — but cannot be held liable for the independent actions of third-party users who choose to misuse the platform.

03 Fortized Safety Infrastructure

Fortized takes platform safety seriously and has invested in a layered system of protections available to all users. These include:

Automated Moderation (AutoMod): Real-time content filtering that detects and acts on policy-violating messages before they reach other users.
Fortized Security Department: A dedicated internal team responsible for reviewing reports, investigating misconduct, and enforcing platform policies.
Age Restriction & Verification Systems: Controls designed to enforce minimum age requirements and provide additional protections for younger users.
Chat Regulations & Community Standards: Clear conduct rules governing all communication on the platform, enforceable at both the platform and Bastion levels.
Report Message Feature: An accessible, in-platform tool that allows any user to flag harmful content or behaviour for prompt human review.
Bastion Admins & Moderators: Community-level moderation teams supported by platform-wide oversight to help maintain safe spaces.

The existence and ongoing operation of these systems reflects Fortized's genuine commitment to user safety. However, no system can guarantee the total prevention of misconduct by individual users. Where misuse occurs, the responsibility lies with the person who chose to misuse the platform.

04 Permitted Use

You may use Fortized to communicate, build communities, participate in Bastions, and engage with other users in a lawful and respectful manner. You agree to:

Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Respect the rights, dignity, and safety of other users at all times
Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
Report bugs, exploits, or security vulnerabilities through Fortized's official channels
Make use of the available safety and reporting tools when you encounter harmful behaviour

05 Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited on Fortized and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination:

Harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse directed at any user
Impersonating another person, entity, or Fortized staff member
Distributing spam, malware, phishing links, or other malicious content
Sharing content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit
Attempting to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the platform or its safety systems
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, suspensions, or restrictions
Facilitating, encouraging, or assisting any of the above by other users

Any misconduct on this platform is the sole responsibility of the individual who commits it. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you — and only you — are accountable for your actions on Fortized. Stawdio Group bears no liability for harm caused by a user's deliberate misuse of the platform.

06 Reporting & Resolution

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates these Terms, we encourage you to use Fortized's built-in report tools so our Security Department can review the situation promptly. This is the most effective way to address misconduct on the platform.

Users agree to first engage Fortized support directly and in good faith before pursuing any external action in connection with platform-related concerns.

07 Account Termination

Fortized reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms of Use, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Users may also voluntarily delete their accounts at any time through their profile settings.

08 Modifications to These Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or community standards. Updates will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of Fortized after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

01 The Service

Fortized provides a community platform for gamers, including text and voice communication tools, Bastion management, user profiles, and related features (collectively, "the Service"). The Service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis.

Beta notice: Fortized is currently in Beta. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable without notice.

02 Accounts & Eligibility

To access the full Service, you must register for a Fortized account. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete registration information
Maintaining the security of your password and account access
All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

03 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or share on Fortized. By posting content, you grant Fortized a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights or violate applicable laws. Fortized does not endorse, and is not responsible for, any content posted by users.

04 Platform Safety Measures

Fortized maintains a comprehensive suite of safety systems to reduce the risk of harmful interactions on the platform. These include automated content moderation, the Fortized Security Department, age restriction enforcement, community conduct standards, and an accessible in-platform report feature.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that these systems represent Fortized's good-faith and ongoing commitment to user safety. However, because the Service involves real-time interaction between independent users worldwide, Fortized cannot guarantee the complete prevention of all harmful conduct. Any harm caused by a user's deliberate misuse of the platform is the sole responsibility of that user.

By creating an account, you accept that Fortized is an interactive social platform with inherent risks. You agree to make use of the available safety and reporting tools, and you acknowledge that Stawdio Group cannot be held liable for the independent actions of third-party users.

05 Availability & Downtime

Fortized does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that result in temporary unavailability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of planned downtime.

06 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fortized and Stawdio Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes, without limitation, any harm, loss, or damage resulting from:

The conduct, content, or actions of any other user on the platform
Unauthorised access to or alteration of your account or content
Temporary or permanent unavailability of the Service
Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies present during the Beta period

Fortized provides safety infrastructure in good faith, but the existence of such infrastructure does not create or imply any liability on the part of Fortized or Stawdio Group for harm caused by individual user misconduct. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue use and, where appropriate, submit a report to our Security Department.

07 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fortized, Stawdio Group, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another user or third party.

08 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall first be raised with Fortized support for good-faith resolution. Users agree to pursue direct resolution with Fortized before initiating any formal legal, regulatory, or public proceedings. Fortized reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with reasonable notice provided to users.
